LAYAWAY

Beyond accepting credit cards as payment, we also offer a layaway plan where we will break-up the payment of your item into three (3), six (6) or twelve (12) monthly payments (payment terms vary by piece). Please message us for additional details about setting up a layaway. It can all be conducted right here automatically on the website or we can help you with it over the phone. No refunds will be given on funds for incomplete layaway purchases not paid for in full by the time due.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Our special super power is helping you find exactly what you’re looking for. If we don’t have just what you want in the shop or studio currently, we will search high and low until we find it. Looking for an amazing Art Deco engagement ring? We can do that. How about a Georgian intaglio brooch? Absolutely. And everything in-between. However, once we have found your piece and made the purchase on your behalf, you are committed to the piece and we require payment in full within 24 hours. We will do everything in our power to make sure you’re happy with it, but special orders are not refundable.

SHIPPING

Because we want your purchase to arrive safely at your door, we ship USPS Priority Mail (inside the US; we ship DHL for orders outside of the United States), in some cases we will require a signature upon delivery and we also insure your shipment against any possible loss. As a result, the charges associated with shipping jewelry are often higher than if you were ordering a pair of jeans or a new eye shadow palette. We do our best to find economical methods and to try to balance safety and security with cost.

While we don’t expect any issues, KC & Co. is not responsible for any items lost during shipping and no refunds will be given for misplaced or shipper damaged items. We will, however, do our best to help you and/or the shipper locate any lost parcels and if that’s not possible, we’ll work with you, our insurance and the carrier to obtain payout to replace the item(s).

If you are purchasing outside of the US, our carrier of choice is DHL. Given that we have little control over a shipment once it has left our shores, no refunds will be given for shipper misplaced items and a signature will be required for delivery.  While we don’t expect any issues, Katie Callahan & Co. is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during shipping and no refunds will be given.

Please note: To protect our customers and ourselves from those attempting fraudulent purchases using stolen credit cards, all orders will be required to be shipped to the billing address on file with your credit card company and any orders over $300 will need to be signed for at the time of delivery. Should you wish to have your order shipped to a different address from your billing address, please call our shop for assistance: 919-438-1133.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

It’s our hope that you are thrilled with your purchase! If you feel that it is not as it was represented, we will happily exchange your purchase for something else from our shop. We ask that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving your item to discuss an exchange. Since vintage pieces are almost always one of a kind and we are not able to manage the care of pieces once they leave our hands, we do not offer refunds on vintage and antique purchases.
