Archduchess Marie Valerie Diamond Ring
If you are a lover of European Royal history, this is the piece for you. The center diamond belonged to Archduchess Marie Valerie - the youngest daughter of Emperor Franz Josepf Habsburg. She was her mother's favorite daughter and therefore it is quite likely that this stone, at one time, belonged to Empress Sisi herself.
The Old Mine cut weighs in at 3.286 carats - graded at VS2/J. It's flanked on each side by two Old Europeant Cut diamonds weighing in at another .47 carats total (SI1-2/I) and set in a plantinum mounting that can be sized to fit.
Please note in the images the original grading certificate from the Austrian Gem Lab, a letter from the Royal Jewelers (for the last 5 generations) stating that the great, great grandaughter of the Archduchess sold the stone back to the jeweler and a current appraisal of the ring by our GIA trained appraiser. We added some photos of Marie Valerie, just for fun.

SHIPPING INFO
We ship within 24 hours of your order, baring weekends when we willl ship the next business day. Items are insured and will require that they are shipped to your credit card's billing address and, if over $100 in value, that they be signed for by an adult. This is to ensure that your item(s) make it safely to you, as shipping jewlery theft is common and a large risk.
We try to reduce our footprint by reusing packing and shipping materials when we can. Please let us know if you'd like us to ship in a brand new box for gift giving.
